This policy explains what information is collected when you visit Right AI · Right Problem (this "site"), run by John, and how it's used. The short version: this site has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments, and it doesn't sell your personal information.
Information collected
Analytics
This site may use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and which tool links they click. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you. It does not tell me who you are. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Affiliate links
Some links to tools are affiliate links. When you click one, the company you're sent to (or its affiliate network) may set a cookie so it can credit this site if you buy something. Those companies' own privacy policies apply once you're on their sites. No personal information is passed to them by this site.
Hosting and fonts
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log basic technical information such as your IP address when you load a page, for security and reliability. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it delivers them. See the GitHub Privacy Statement and the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
If you email me, I'll receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. I only use it to reply to you and won't add you to any mailing list or share it.
How information is used
- To see which pages and tools are most useful, so the site can be improved.
- To earn affiliate commissions that keep the site free.
- To reply to messages you send.
Your personal information is never sold.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information, email me and I'll delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using the add-on above. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have rights to access or delete personal information about you. To make a request, email me and I'll help where I can.
